Vintage framed oil painting by listed artist Torsten Rydén (1910-1985). Striking interior scene in harmonious colors painted with a sure hand with a nice use of light. Excellent and interesting composition using loose but carefully-placed marks create a vitality in this painting that isn't lost on the viewer. A very striking painting in person.

Some of the artwork that I sell online at   Vintage Art Room   is found at "loppis" (flea market) here. When I am at "loppisar" (plural for flea market!) I have to sort through a lot of artwork- it's a very dirty job actually. I think that for every 100-150 paintings I look at I am lucky to find one good one. The Swede's were quite prolific painters both amateurs and professional up until about the 70's.
