It's something I am guilty of too. But, when I find a piece like this, obviously painted with a skillfull hand, I feel frustrated not being able to put a name to it. Maybe it just adds to the intrigue of this piece. On the back it says "Cliffs at Starndhagen- Arild". Arild is a coastal town about 30km above Helsingborg that attracts artists by the droves for its scenic views and many plein air painting opportunities. SOLD
