Knut Norman was a very confident painter and his paintings are always filled with atmosphere and light. He laid down his paint without any hesitation and left it. Some painters put down a stroke and then fiddle with it to adjust the shape of color until there is no life left in it. Knut was not one of those painters. He made a decision and kept it. He knew how to steer and manipulate the viewer into seeing his vision which worked very well for him. And the viewer.
