Large, vintage fine art still life oil painting signed K Anerud '48 . This is an original, gorgeous, impressionistic oil painting of amaryllis flowers and spring flowers on a table painted in 1948. Bright, bold colors and confident paint application make this a stellar painting. This painting glows with light - I absolutely love this painting. In it I see inspirations of Van Gogh and Matisse. Will brighten up any room with it's cheerful theme and colors. SOLD

Materials: Oil on board. The panel is extra heavy.

Erik Olson Original Mid Century Print Sweden Click Here for More Information or to Purchase  I am continuously surprised and sometimes a bit saddened by what is available in charity shops and flea markets here in Sweden. Some of the artwork that I sell online at   Vintage Art Room   is found at "loppis" (flea market) here. When I am at "loppisar" (plural for flea market!) I have to sort through a lot of artwork- it's a very dirty job actually. I think that for every 100-150 paintings I look at I am lucky to find one good one. The Swede's were quite prolific painters both amateurs and professional up until about the 70's.
