Large mid century original oil painting signed by Swedish artist Ragnar Lindquist (1906-1986). Beautiful still life with terracotta bust in clear bright colors rendered in an impressionistic style. There is no hesitation in the paint strokes that were applied making this a solid painting on so many levels. This painting just glows! Painting is in its original custom frame which shows some wear. Some of the artwork that I sell online at   Vintage Art Room   is found at "loppis" (flea market) here. When I am at "loppisar" (plural for flea market!) I have to sort through a lot of artwork- it's a very dirty job actually. I think that for every 100-150 paintings I look at I am lucky to find one good one. The Swede's were quite prolific painters both amateurs and professional up until about the 70's.
